This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the engineering division by working directly with the CTO and executive leadership. This is a unique opportunity for a growth-oriented professional to build, scale, and nurture a high-performance engineering team in a fast-paced and innovative environment.Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CTO and executive team to design and execute medium- to long-term growth strategies for the engineering organization.
• Organizational Development: Lead the development of team culture and structure by designing and implementing recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation systems.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Drive synergy across projects and departments, ensuring optimal allocation of engineering resources.
• Process Optimization: Improve engineering productivity by enhancing development environments, selecting tools, and streamlining workflows.
• Change Management: Act as the key liaison between engineering and management, ensuring alignment between technical execution and business goals.

QualificationsRequired:

• Proven experience in engineering management, organizational design, or HR strategy within a tech environment.
• Track record of working in or scaling fast-growth companies, such as startups.
• Strong cross-functional communication and leadership skills.
• High adaptability and a self-driven learning mindset.

Preferred

• Hands-on experience as an engineer on manufacturing or space development projects.
• Previous experience as VPoE or a similar leadership role in a startup.
• Knowledge of modern development tools, AI, and automation technologies for engineering efficiency.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly Salary:
• Basic: ¥675,000 - ¥1,012,000
• Fixed Overtime (30 hours): ¥158,333 - ¥238,000
• Additional overtime paid separately
• Bonuses & Salary Increases: Based on performance and company policy

Workplace & Schedule

• Location: Ichigo Kakyoin Building, Aoba-ku, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture
• Remote Work: Available under specific conditions
• Working Hours: Full flextime system (8 hours/day between 5:00-22:00, weekdays)
• Annual Holidays: 125 days (including weekends, national holidays, summer & New Year breaks)
• Trial Period: 3 months
