Position title - Contents Analyst (Movies, videos, anime, series)

Contract type - Contractor

Working hours - 9:00 - 18:00 (with flex time and work-from-home possible)

Compensation - 6,000,000 - 8,000,000 JPY / year (based on skill level)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our company is looking for a detail-oriented and media-savvy Content Analyst to join our Product Metadata & Ratings team. If you love movies, series, and global entertainment — and enjoy digging into the details — this role is for you.

You’ll help shape how millions of users discover content by tagging and analyzing films and shows, contributing to the metadata that powers personalized recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Watch and analyze a wide range of content (films, series, animation, documentaries)
• Tag and classify content using internal tools
• Write concise summaries and apply content ratings
• Collaborate with editorial and AI training teams
• Maintain high accuracy and consistency in metadata

We’re Looking for:

• Experience in media, editorial, or content analysis (in media companies)
• Strong knowledge of global entertainment and streaming content
• Excellent written English skills
• Fluent Japanese skills
• Ability to manage large content catalogs
