Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Specialist to join our manufacturing operations in Saitama. The ideal candidate will manage all tax-related matters, ensure compliance with Japanese tax regulations, and optimize our tax position while supporting our manufacturing business operations.

Tax Compliance & Reporting

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns , consumption tax , and other statutory tax filings in accordance with Japanese tax law
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting requirements
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax documentation to Japanese tax authorities
• Coordinate tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities

Manufacturing-Specific Tax Management

• Handle customs duties and import/export tax matters related to raw materials and finished goods
• Manage transfer pricing documentation for intercompany transactions
• Oversee tax implications of inventory valuation and manufacturing cost accounting
