Job Title:Construction Management

Position Summary

Responsible as a Supervising Engineer and/or EHS Controller, carrying out site management, quality control, documentation, and reporting directly to the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall site operations and report accurately and timely to the Project Manager
• Handle daily site documentation
• Control and monitor material delivery (quantity, specifications, inspection)
• Maintain smooth communication with internal teams and vendors
• Monitor work progress and deviations from contractual schedules
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure quality compliance
• Ensure compliance with Japanese health & safety regulations and company standards
• Attend weekly project team meetings
• Prepare and consolidate daily reports
• Maintain good relationships with local communities
• Support weekly/monthly reporting to the Project Manager
• Ensure project document control complies with contract requirements
• Lead the construction management team if acting as Main Construction Manager
• EHS Controller responsibilities
• Support English/Japanese translation
• Assist with internal/external audits

Essential Requirements

• 1st Class Electrical or Civil Construction Management Engineer
• More than 5 years of construction management experience
• Experience as a Supervising Engineer managing sites and contractors
• Business-level verbal and written communication in Japanese
• Proficient in MS Office and CAD tools

Good to Have

• Over 5 years of construction management experience in renewable energy or general contractors
• English verbal and written communication
• Team player, negotiation skills, adaptability
