This is a cross-functional team that provides system and AI development support to multiple FinTech business units, allowing for exposure to diverse domains and cutting-edge technologies.As part of its AI strategy, the department also functions as a Center of Excellence (CoE) for AI initiatives within the group-leading research, AI project implementation, and data infrastructure development across FinTech services.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Data Scientist who will drive AI adoption across FinTech services within the organization. This role will focus on solving real-world financial challenges using machine learning and data-driven insights.From fraud detection and user behavior prediction to scoring and personalization, you will be part of a collaborative team that brings AI-powered solutions into production, delivering direct business impact at scale.Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI models for diverse FinTech applications including fraud detection, behavioral prediction, and scoring systems.
• Utilize tools such as AutoML and internal frameworks to accelerate development.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate AI models into products and services.
• Drive value creation through innovative use of data and AI across financial platforms.
• Support ongoing efforts in AI evangelism, training, and education within the organization.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, data science, or analytics.
• Proficient in common ML algorithms and evaluation methods.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R.
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
• Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading teams of data scientists, analysts, or developers.
• Proven track record in the successful delivery of AI/ML-powered services or systems.
• Strong interest in staying updated with emerging AI tools and technologies.
• Exposure to the financial or fintech domain is a plus.
